Little Wolf Coffee began roasting in Ipswich, Massachusetts, in 2016. Its two co-founders developed their interest in specialty coffee while living in Seattle, where home roasting eventually grew into a commercial roasting business. The company was named after their Siberian husky and remains closely associated with Ipswich and Massachusetts’ North Shore.

Within the third-wave coffee landscape, Little Wolf concentrates on a relatively small, seasonal menu rather than a large permanent catalog. Its stated roasting philosophy is to preserve and emphasize each coffee’s distinctive qualities. Current offerings span traceable single-origin lots, experimental or uncommon varieties and processes, decaffeinated coffees, a year-round Companion Blend and limited releases available through its exclusive subscription. Some product pages identify the producer, farm or washing station, elevation, variety, processing method and importing partner.

Little Wolf operates cafés in Ipswich and Boston’s Seaport neighborhood, with roasting performed beside the Ipswich café. The wholesale program serves cafés, restaurants, offices and events, offering multiple bag formats, equipment consultation, training, setup and ongoing support. Its subscription range includes rotating variety, comfort-profile, Ethiopian and decaf selections, an exclusive monthly small-lot release and prepaid gift subscriptions.
